Your tenant is in, now what?

Once your new tenant has taken occupation of the property there are landlord obligations to adhere to and, if you have chosen a ‘tenant find only’ service, you will need to ensure that you follow the guidelines below.

Change over the utilities

Register the deposit within 30 days

Touch base with your tenant to check in

Ensure tenant has final signed copy of tenancy & inventory

Be available for maintenance issues

Always give 24 hours notice of visits

Carry out property inspections 6 monthly

Ensure you give correct notice if you require re-possession

Let your tenant 'quietly enjoy' your property
